The Empire State Building is an iconic landmark located in the heart of Manhattan, New York City. Standing at 1,454 feet tall, it was once the tallest building in the world and is now one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. The building offers breathtaking views of the city skyline, making it a prime location for photography enthusiasts. Visitors can capture stunning shots of the city from the observation deck on the 86th floor or the top deck on the 102nd floor. Additionally, the building's lobby and exterior also provide unique photo opportunities with its Art Deco architecture and intricate details.
“Your stairway lies on the whispering wind And as we wind on down the road Our shadows taller than our soul There walks a lady we all know Who shines white light and wants to show How everything still turns to gold And if you listen very hard The tune will come to you at last…”
Lightroom4 / Photomatix / Photoshop CS6
Not too good light that morning on top of the Empire, but thanks to HDR I could get some contrasts and colors out of these shots . No tripod as it's forbidden, just leaned on the railing and the Vibration Control of my new Tamron 15-30mm f/2,8 did its job at longest exposure 1/50 sec. Hope you like this too!
